What needs to happen now is the Hummer company to fail and go out of business. Also some other American company to make vehicles for the US army.

does anyone else get an uneasy feeling when hummer and its manufacturing is going to be run by a communist country that builds military products,,, not to mention has no issue with running over protesters with tanks

this is so damn funny

Porsche1080 August 31, 2010 at 6:36 pm

hmm the air force spent money on customizing cars instead of building up our air superiority?

interesting

Plus, im a consumer watch dog myself, with higherachi contacts, very illegal, but i dont mind, theyre reporters and consumer affairs kind of people. Dissregard my comments if you think im wrong. but dont get me in trouble by sprouting things, dont let it become a chinese whisper, keep it quiet.

nebulaxeon August 31, 2010 at 9:32 pm

You americans are worry warts. And chill people to the max, Pepsi max, hahaha, im a fair insomniac, so im up at 11 oclock at night. But sticking to comments, i thought that video was nuts man, it seems like a comedic video more so than a serious video. 9/10 for that american show. :) keep it real, and keep it american/australian/japanese/chinese/and whatever else.

Plus, it makes you think and wonder why a country would sell the whole company doesnt it, im proud to say that america owns GM and GMC, id hate to see such elequence go to a country that didnt own the company in the first place, but im a strong beliver in percentage on a short time contract, and yes, its usually a 10 year contract, they help with design and finance.

nebulaxeon August 31, 2010 at 10:40 pm

In actual fact, i know GM is still american, i know that ford doesnt own anything else appart from percentages in Land rover, jaguar and a few others, call them shares if you will, and hummer are still american. Usually, companys are only sold if REALLY necesary, a company has to lose at least 90 percent of its savings and income to go bankrupt. Do some research first. ive heard kraft is american, and im an aussie, it started out being aust, and still is. america own a percentage in kraft only:)

rufio520 August 31, 2010 at 11:12 pm

haha you are an idiot GM doesnt own Ford…. and how can you say hummer was some of america’s best cars? yeah they can drive through just about anything, but no one buys them because they are too big to fit in most parking garages, get horrible gas mileage, and not to mention cost an arm and a leg in todays economy

ablair37 September 1, 2010 at 12:08 am

rover was bmw and so was land rover as range rover engies were bmw designed untill a few years ago

Elmo187 September 1, 2010 at 1:05 am

um the only car from Land Rover/Jaguar that’s still built on a Ford platform is the LR2, which is the Escape platform. that’s all. don’t bring up the Jaguar X-type, because that car is dead. they discontinued it a few months ago. all other cars from both were developed by Land Rover and Jaguar themselves.

any proof to say otherwise?

SPIKEmIlLeNnIuM September 1, 2010 at 1:46 am

Ok, buddy, I’ll practice what I preach. I didn’t want to get too technical because technically, all the Rover products and Jaguar are STILL built and rolled out on Ford designed frames and products. To me, that’s still ford.

And before YOU start dishing out lessons to someone who DOES know more than you, get your facts straight…Tata motors was only INTERESTED in Ford in 2007 and actually purchased the company on the 26 March 2008.

The day shares stopped diving at 5.59/share and went up.

Elmo187 September 1, 2010 at 2:03 am

Land Rover/Jaguar are NOT owned by Ford anymore. they were sold back in 2007 to Tata Motors in India.

you should probably practice what you preache.

Elmo187 September 1, 2010 at 2:53 am

GM has never owned Land Rover and Jaguar. they were owned by Ford before selling them both to the Indian manufacturer Tata Motors.

SPIKEmIlLeNnIuM September 1, 2010 at 3:01 am

Dude, no offense, but not having knowledge is one thing, but speaking about things you know nothing of makes YOU the stupid one. Ford is ford, GM DOES NOT own ford, and Land Rover and Jaguar are owned by Ford. GM and Ford are the biggest manufacturing foes. to each other.

hen555 September 1, 2010 at 3:42 am

Gm is stupid they are selling their best cars,
just watch them sell ford to Germany.

They have already sold Land Rover, Jaguare, and now Hummer. What elsee

hen555 September 1, 2010 at 4:32 am
