2010 Hummer H3T Alpha Start Up, Engine, and in Depth Tour

by Hummer on August 17, 2011

In thisvideo I give a full in depth tour of a 2010 Hummer H3T. I was impressed at the overall design of the vehicle and it much nicer in person than I originally thought. plus, the addition of the V8 makes it all that much more awesome. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this sport utility while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this truck designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

Could you do a followup review,,,, you know with a gallon of gas and a lighter?
I would love to see one of those POS ‘s burn in the drive.

Hi I have a 2010 H3T with the adventure package, like this particular truck. When I heard about the HUMMER shutdown, I raced out to my nearest dealer to buy one. These are very rare and very hard to find. It’s an excellent truck. I took it last weekend to go riding in the surf. You just can’t beat one of these trucks! I get lots of stares and lots of interest from plenty of people and also lots of compliments. Most people cannot believe the gas mileage is as good as it is. A real technicians 4×4

I like these because they are one of two SUV/pickup mashups that come in manual transmission (the other being Explorer SportTrac) but the SportTrac manuals are sooo rare and the styling of the Hummer is badass as well. But as much as I love this truck, they are way too expensive for what they are.

I was pretty amazed when I saw this in town.

I don’t really like that T that much, the body is so uneven and bumpy, I think the H2 body would look better on this instead of the H3.

Very nice video! This is probably the only Hummer that I would even think about getting. The Alpha trim makes that interior really nice :D

1bentley4ever August 23, 2010 at 1:50 am

Very quiet V8, almost luxury car quiet.

1bentley4ever August 23, 2010 at 1:53 am

Hey, a Hummer I ACTUALLY like other than the H1. It’s too bad these won’t be made anymore. Definitely a cool truck, and practical.

NissanDriver15 August 23, 2010 at 2:15 am

@talldude123 Diesels aren’t necessarily fast. the H1 did have a turbodiesel, but diesels are more for torque than anything.

talldude123 August 23, 2010 at 2:42 am

@NissanDriver15 I also just realized that this truck had the 5.3L V8, not the 3.5L I5. Probably makes a little difference. The H1 shoud’ve been fast, didn’t it have a 6.0L Turbodiesel?

NissanDriver15 August 23, 2010 at 2:48 am

@talldude123 Because they are so heavy, they were always gutless – the H2 had, I believe, a 5.7 V8 out of a Yukon and it did 0-60 in about 10 seconds. I could be mistaken though, but my point is they’re so heavy and slow.

talldude123 August 23, 2010 at 3:42 am

I don’t know much about Hummer’s, but since this truck has the same engine as the Chev Colorado, wouldn’t it be gutless?

charlesmaisto April 4, 2011 at 4:12 pm

Model Car Trading: Yes. Also in 1:16 scale R/C is the HUMMER H3T pickup, #81099 in red and yellow colors. Two more styles are coming for 2010 but we can't reveal which ones at this time.
