An extra thick driver's heel pad provides years of life while the perimeter edges contain spills and debris. Raised ridges on Husky floor mats keep your feet out of mud, water and dirt. They are manufactured from a resilient material that is guaranteed not to crack or break even in the most extreme weather conditions. In fact, Husky Liners guarantees their Floor Mats for the life of your vehicle. Husky heavy duty floor mats are easily cleaned, easy to install and feature Sta-Put Nibs on the reverse side to help keep them in place. Offered in black, grey or tan to compliment every interior.

The 2010 Hummer H2 has been delayed due to GM's sale of the Hummer unit, so the 2009 H2 continues to be available. The 2009 all wheel drive Hummer H2 is equipped with a huge 6.2 liter v8 Vortec engine that produces power and speed unheard of in most SUV products. Equipped with sequential fuel injection (SFI), the engine delivers an amazing 383 horsepower and 415 foot pounds of torque to give the 6,600+ pound H2 noteworthy speed and acceleration. In fact the vehicle will go from 0 mph to 60 in less than 10 seconds. To get impressive numbers like this, the engine is made from a cast aluminum block and fitted with aluminum cylinder heads. Variable valve timing is used to maximize power output by adjusting the valves in real time. This also helps keep engine emissions low while keeping engine efficiency high. To make Hummer H2 more economical to operate and more environmentally friendly, it is FlexFuel compatible, meaning that it can run on E85 Ethanol. With the 6.2 liter engine, the Hummer H2 can carry a payload of 1,986 pounds and it can pull an astounding 8,200 pounds. This is a heavy vehicle that can do heavy work!

The size and low gas mileage of the Hummer H2 combine to diminish it in the eyes of many automotive critics. Edmunds.com says, In terms of image and off-road ability, the 2009 Hummer H2 is still top dog, but it's the top dog of a waning segment. Anyone looking for decent fuel economy or an urban-friendly footprint won't be happy with the H2

Shortly , it is going to be the time to claim so long to the Hummer H1. This vehicle is essentially a lorry which is produced by the General Motors Co. . One of the newest stories from the company is that the Hummer H1 would soon be on the list of those that will move on no further.

The Hummer H1 van has been known as a gas guzzler. It also has been made, designed, and popularized as a military-style standing symbol. To top it all off, this automobile has been suffering from poor sales. That's the reason why the Corporation has made a decision to cut and completely halt the production of the Hummer H1 and instead, target selling and focusing its resources on their other cars that sell well and bring in the cash.

Since 1996, this vehicle has been in production. It's been in production. It has been crafted in the convertible-like soft top, the convertible-like soft top, the four-door hard top pickup van, and the station truck. On the other hand, there are still some other styles for the Hummer H1 which failed to quite bring about a stir among automobile buyers. These other styles include the pick up wagon with two doors and the slantback which holds four doors.

The last crop of Hummer H1s would soon be rolling out the company's production plant come June this year. It's not so effective when it comes to mileage for it might only run some ten miles on a gallon of fuel. Despite this, the Hummer H1 would still be recalled fondly since it's the foundation of the Hummer brand.

According to Dayna Hart, GM's spokesman for the Hummer brand, "We are refunding it as it's a low volume niche automobile and we shall dedicate out resources now.

Motor vehicles are all-terrain Hummer produced by General Motors. The Hummer H1 is a versatile vehicle with a design that has high mobility. The Hummer 2 Hummer 3 are designed for smaller markets.

Best upgrade could provide a vehicle to install the HID lights. HID discharge lamps, or high intensity are used to replace original halogen bulbs. Instead, the yellow glow of halogen lights, HID lights, adjust the white, blue or lavender glow.

HID conversion kit for the Hummer vehicle fires over five and seventy percent of the length and width of the road. They also offer three times more light than conventional bulbs.

Due to their bright colors, HID lights illuminate the road as the sun. Thus providing better visibility to the driver of the night. This reduces the chances of accidents.

The Hummer HID conversion kits are easy to install as it is plug and play systems. The car owner can change the bulbs, with few technical skills. The new bulbs will not damage the Hummer in any way. However, it is generally recommended that you invest in a new wiring harness. updated harness can withstand the heat of HID lamps are also new and easy to install.

Hummer HID conversion kits usually contain a pair or two of Hummer Xenon headlights and ballasts, sockets and wiring. the candle lighting technology used in HID lamps is different from the halogen lighting. The bulbs contain xenon, an inert gas. When a charge passes through the electrodes in the bulb, get gas disturbed and emits light.

In general, fog lights, break lights, rear lights and indicators makes the most light output of xenon. They are very reliable, because the Hummer HID conversion kits are rigorously tests prior to their entry.

Besides increasing performance, Hummer HID conversion kit will also improve the appearance and Hummer. However, the HID lights are illegal in some areas, while others require them slightly angled to protect oncoming drivers from glare. Make sure that the HID lights legal use of their holdings prior to their installation.

There are many consumers worldwide that will be shocked to hear about the fact that Hummer have made the decision to close down. There are many reasons, however, that this decision had to be made, and although fans of Hummer will be saddened to hear of its fall, there will be many more people that will be celebrating the demise of this brand.

General Motors, the company that owns Hummer, were originally intending on selling the brand, as opposed to halting production altogether. The idea was to sell Hummer to Chinese company Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machines Company. When this deal fell through, and no other buyers for the brand presented themselves, General Motors were left with no other choice but to close down Hummer, in order to save the company from bankruptcy. General Motors are no stranger to having to close down brands recently, as they have had to lose Pontiac, Saturn and are in the process of winding down Saab, also. The closure of these brands means that General Motors can concentrate on some of its more popular and prestigious brands, Cadillac being amongst these.

Not only is the fact that Hummers are known for having such poor fuel efficiency, but as mentioned above with fuel prices reaching all time highs recently, economic decisions about just how fuel efficient a new vehicle is will firmly be in the forefront of buyers minds. When it comes to fuel, not only are people fretting economically speaking, but with climate change becoming a big concern in many a motorists mind, the environmental worries that come with owning a vehicle that would contribute greatly to their carbon footprint makes Hummers less appealing to the every increasingly environmentally concerned car buyer.

Environmental worries and climate change are not solely to blame for the decline in demand for individuals, but they are also partially the reason why the sale of Hummer to Tengzhong fell through. The Chinese government had the last say in the sale, and the decision to disallow Tengzhong from buying Hummer was partially due to the environmental impact that this would have on the country. China also didn't want to place too much reliance on importing oil from other countries. Perhaps other governments could learn from this.

Hummers have always been a vehicle that has gone in and out of fashion. With their distinctive styling, it is easy to understand that some people are never going to be a fan, but with vehicles coming and going in fads the disinterest in Hummer over recent years could be put down to the fact that they are simply less coveted in their appearance. Since people want to buy a vehicle that will impress others, a Hummer is stained with the environmental stigma and certainly does not look as good as a Land Rover Discovery or Porsche Cayenne either. With some people being very passionate about climate change and carbon footprints, it is easy to understand that they may not want to be preached to about their choice in car, and do not want to cause friction between themselves and family members who are worried about the environmental impact of these vehicles.

The decision to close down production of the Hummer comes at a time when interest in new vehicles all round is at a low. Since the world recession hit, most consumers are more likely to keep the cars that they currently have in order to save their money on things like 4wd road tax increases, car insurance and additional insurance costs such as gap insurance. The inclination to try and pinch pennies also means that, where buying a new vehicle is concerned, people are more likely to purchase one which is friendlier on the pocket than a Hummer. Not only is this true in terms of the cost to buy one of these vehicles, but also to run one. Well known for being "gas guzzlers", consumers are unlikely to want to buy a vehicle for which they will incur massive monthly fuel bills. During March and April 2010 European and British motorists have seen rapidly increasing fuel prices thanks in part to Govt. fuel tax increases and a reduction in Middle East oil stock piles. Over a long period of time, the costs of running a vehicle like a Hummer no longer make sense in a world where car buyers are increasingly turning to alternative fuelled vehicles. Maintenance and fuel costs, taxes and the current economic climate, all help to play a role in the demise of the Hummer.

There are many different reasons as to why Hummer has had to be closed down by General Motors, but one thing is definite; there may well be more people celebrating this loss than mourning it.

Hummer is an exciting brand of sport utility vehicles (SUVs) sold by General Motors. Hummers are some of the largest and least fuel efficient SUVs on the market, which are based on the military High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, or Humvee. Since Hummer vehicles have heavy-duty capabilities compared to many other SUVs, many owners for aid in disaster situations have employed them. Throughout the US, and international markets, there are many groups of Hummer brand enthusiasts who use the vehicles for off-highway and off-road driving and recreation. During the year, 2004 Hummer has gone international with selected importers and distributors in Europe and other markets. California Governor was the first private citizen to own a Hummer and continues to own several of them. During his 2003 bid for Governor, he responded to environmental critics that not only was the first civilian to own a Hummer, but he had at his own expense successfully converted at least one of his Hummers into a Hydrogen vehicle.

Hummers are available in different models such as: Hummer H1, Hummer H2, Hummer H3 and Hummer H4. The Hummer H1 is a civilian vehicle based on the M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, popularly known as the Humvee. The Hummer H2 is the second vehicle sold under the Hummer marque of General Motors. It is a large truck with room for six passengers - including driver. The rearmost part of the H2 was modified to a pickup truck bed for the 2005 H2 SUT. The Hummer H3 is the smallest of the three Hummer models, and though the H3 concept car was a pickup truck, the final vehicle is a conventional Sport Utility Vehicle. It is built on a heavily modified Colorado/Canyon pickup truck frame; the H3 shares many driveline and ancillary components with its siblings. The Hummer H4 is a new model, which is in development by the General Motors Hummer division. This model is likely to be more basic, and the focus is once again on off-road ability. It is smaller than the three previous Hummers and is reportedly conceived to compete with the Jeep Wrangler. The Hummer H3 vehicle is popularly used worldwide.

Hummer can be termed as the brand which is of off road vehicles. Hummer is sold by General Motors. Hummer was based on the Military mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles. Hummer was originally built by AM General Corporation. This was formerly AMC’s jeep general product’s vehicle. Hummers are a brand in itself. As hummers are a brand in itself so are the Hummer headlights. Hummer headlights have also lived up to the expectations of the customers or consumers. We can know this through the popularity of Hummers and Hummer headlights.

Every vehicle has a headlight but the Hummer headlights are providing a very noticeable difference, a difference which can be noticed by the people easily. By choosing the Hummer headlights people are adding glory to their vehicle. As the headlights are mounted at the front of the vehicle it is also a style factor. It’s becoming a style icon. People are becoming choosy about their headlights.

To ride with the Hummer headlights is really a pride in itself. Hummer headlights add to the beauty of the vehicle and beside this beauty it is always easier to drive with the Hummer headlights during night time. At night when there is no light or less light then it becomes very difficult for the person to drive, as nothing is clearly visible on the road ahead. This can be very dangerous in terms of life of a person so one must not take any kind of risk in such cases. One should go for the Hummer headlights which will make the life much easier.
