Oh Jeannie, I loved Napier and so did my son – he loved the skatepark and we spent a lot of our 2-day stay there! This is a fantastic shot and I can’t tell you how envious I am of your wonderful trip!
Thanks Sue, Benoit dutherage and co, and dessert rat for your nice comments. Sorry I’ve taken so long to respond Sue, yes we loved Napier too and spent quite a lot of time in the Museum there, as Tom had relatives who survived a big earthquake that hit the Napier, Hastings area in 1931, and wanted to speak with the curator, to offer the museum a letter that he has, that was written by his mother’s Aunt. Giving very graphic details of the earthquake, and the fear that they felt. The family was so traumatised that they left their farm, and went back to Scotland where they had emigrated from.
dessert rat, this is a four wheel drive vehicle.

Incredible car incredibly big !
Perhaps you would have been paying for the ambiance of the parking lot.
Wonder if that’s a four wheel drive.
